Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for completing a variety of repair, maintenance, installation, and improvement projects for residential and/or commercial properties.

The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and can work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform general repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects
• Complete basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and fixture-installation work
• Assemble, install, repair, and replace equipment, hardware, fixtures, and building materials
• Diagnose issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions
• Prepare work areas, protect customer property, and clean up thoroughly after each project
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and time spent
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding project details, timelines, and recommendations
• Follow all company safety procedures, building codes, and applicable regulations
• Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory in good working condition
• Provide professional, courteous service that reflects positively on the company
• Effective and continues communication with the office clerk or manager 

Qualifications : 

• Previous experience in handyman services, property maintenance, construction, remodeling, or a related field
• Ability to estimate and price project scopes 
• Working knowledge of basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, doors, windows, and general repairs
• Ability to read and follow instructions, measurements, and project specifications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Own professional hand tools
