SUMMARY: Package shipments and work with Shipping and various warehouse duties. This is a temporary assignment up to 6 months.

ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES: 

• Generates packing lists and work orders.
• Inspects and packs company-made products.
• Performs accurate packaging for outbound shipment of goods to end users.
• Assist in preparation of export documents for third-party vendors.  Make necessary changes if specifications change.
• Performs picking and kitting of parts to support Production departments.
• Assists in daily cycle counts as needed
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse.
• Operate the modular through storing parts
• Operate forklift as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience operating a floor lift in a warehouse environment

Knowledge & Skills: 

• Basic knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Detailed oriented with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to perform numerical calculations such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to operate forklift and floor jack
• Ability to physically lift up to 45 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock when in the operations and warehouse areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but due to open office environment noise level may occasionally be high.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
