We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping properties safe, functional, and looking their best. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of building systems while continuing to develop their skills across multiple trades.

What You'll Do

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs and ensuring units are move-in ready.
• Perform drywall repair, painting, flooring repairs, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Complete light electrical and plumbing repairs throughout the property.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Respond to maintenance requests and service calls in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine property inspections and address safety concerns as needed.
• Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
• Track work orders and document completed repairs.
• Assist with inventory management and maintenance supply organization.
• Support seasonal property needs, including snow removal and salting during winter months.

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance, facilities, apartment, or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with drywall, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the day.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Additional hours may be available during seasonal demands, weather events, or emergency maintenance situations.

Work Environment

This position supports a residential apartment community and includes both indoor and outdoor maintenance responsibilities. You'll work alongside a close-knit maintenance team while performing apartment renovations, resident service requests, property upkeep, and seasonal maintenance activities. An on-call rotation is part of the role and helps ensure residents receive prompt emergency maintenance support when needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
